The Library

On Tuesday, Brooke went to the library, and I asked her to rent the second Anne of Green Gables book for me, Anne of Avonlea. Unfortunately, it wasn't there so she put it on hold for me.




Instead, she rented out two wonderful books for me to read until we could get it! The first book was From the Mixed Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler, which I loved! Even that I finished it that day. I recommend it, along with the other book, which I started and finished the next day, Small Steps, by Louis Sachar. It's a sequel to his book Holes.

    Love mixed-up files! E.L. Konigsburg signed my copy when I was at BYU. Haven't read the Sacchar sequel--maybe I'll pick it up.

    I've read both those books... Can't remember Mixed-Up Files much... But I love Small Steps! :)
